Acute Bronchitis

Zhafran couldn't sleep for the past few days and last night was the worst. It worries me. He's having a terrible cough, phlegm and difficulty to breathe. Since Fifi's daughter just got admitted for fever and cough, me and Fauzy immediately think it's a good idea to bring him straight to the specialist. The clinic was packed with feverish children and we waited for a good 3 hours. I was frustrated and thinking that I would never go back to An-Nur again. Everything changes when I meet the doctor. Dr. Siti Arbaiyah is a caring and a very thoughtful doctor. She diagnos it quickly and explain on the cause, sign and symptom briefly in layman's term which I needed as to understand the disease. According to her, Zhafran has Acute bronchitis which is usually caused by a virus. Often a person gets acute bronchitis after having an upper respiratory tract infection such as a cold or the flu. The most common symptom of acute bronchitis is a cough that is dry and later develop heavier cough that may bring up mucus. He is now having a mild fever as well. I hope things will get better soon.
